Mr. Ted Mullennex, age 83 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Monday, November 30, 2009 in Nella’s Nursing Home. He was born July 8, 1926 at Job, a son of the late Fred and Josie Warner Mullennex. On February 14, 1962 in Clarksburg, he was married to Ingrid Neuman Mullennex who survives in Elkins. Also surviving is one son, Stanley D. Mullennex and wife Heide, Elkins. Two daughters, Patricia Montazeri and husband Reza, San Jose, CA and Anita Schoonover and husband Sam, Elkins. Seven grandchildren, Parisa, Nina, Eli, Bethany, Isabella, Alicia and Timothy and three great grandchildren also survive. Also preceding him in death was one brother, Jack Mullennex. Ted attended the schools of Randolph County, was a Veteran of the United States Army and was employed as a Carpenter for Union Local 1024 prior to his retirment. Mr. Mullennex’s remains were cremated. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Ted Mullennex. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.tomblynfuneralhome.com.
