Mrs. Louise Wilmoth, age 87 years, a resident of Norton, passed away Friday afternoon at her home. She was born March 31, 1922 at East Lynn, WV a daughter of the late Pearley and Vesta Mills Jackson. She was married to Bryan Wilmoth, Jr. who preceded her in death. Surviving are daughters, Janice Bennett and Letha Wilmoth both of Norton, a son-in-law, Larry Bradberry, Norton, a sister, Letha Muncy, Huntington, WV, a brother, Pearley Jackson, East Lynn, WV, grandchildren, Ginger Cunningham, Lee Bennett and wife Angela, Ralph Bennett, Rodney and Chris Bradberry, Angela Hinchman and husband Jeff, great grandchildren, Mandy Cunningham, Roy and Wesley Dickenson, Tiffany Dickenson and B.J. Jaggie, Brittney, Bryan and Takoda Bradberry, Lilly and Jacob Bradberry and Hayly and Jeffrey Hinchman and one great-great grandson, Berkley Jaggie, IV. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Helen Bradberry, son-in-law, Edward L. Bennett, two sisters, Goldie Ball and Alice Wilmoth, and four brothers, Fisher, Grover, Hiram and Basil Jackson.
Mrs. Wilmoth was a Homemaker, and in her earlier years was a cook at the Kerens School and provided child care for numerous families. She was a member of the First Church of Christ of Elkins.
Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 8th from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Walter Ellison officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman. Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Hospice, 1600 Crim Avenue, Belington, WV 26250 in memory of Mrs. Wilmoth.
