Dorothy Louise Weese Teter, age 80 years, a resident of Harman, passed away at 5:32 A.M. Thursday, December 24, 2009 in the Davis Memorial Hospital. She was born April 23, 1929 at Brownton, WV, a daughter of the late Otto Weese and Elvira Cross Weese Owens. In 1948 at Elkins, she was married to James H. “Buzz” Teter, who preceded her in death on March 26, 2003. Surviving are three sons, James Allen Teter of Daytona Beach, FL, John Ralph Teter of Bowden, Jerry David Teter of Harman and one daughter, Linda Marie Teter of Harman. One brother, Harry Owens of Oklahoma, one sister,Katherine Louise “ Betty” White of Elkins, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by one infant son.
Mrs. Teter was a homemaker and co-owner with her husband of Midway Motor Company, Inc. of Harman .
Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home at Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 28th from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dave Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Teter Cemetery at Harman.
