Beatrice I. White Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Beatrice I. White, age 91 years, a resident of Mill Creek, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the Davis Medical Center. She was born April 10, 1930 at Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Cecil and Margery Currence Cutright. On May 10, 1947 at Elkins, she was married to Roy T. White who preceded her in death July 10, 2007. Surviving are two sons, Eddie White and wife Diane of Mill Creek and Timothy White and wife Cindy of Elkins; two daughters, Doris Norman of Mill Creek and Julie Light and husband Herman of Mill Creek. Three brothers, Gary Cutright and wife Sadie, Cletis Cutright and wife Ruth and Denny Cutright and companion Maxine Metz, all of Mill Creek and one sister, Loraine Schoonover of Mill Creek. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Sherman Cutright and Leroy White; one grandson, Dustin White; three sisters, Deloris Vance, Gladys Pritt and Evelyn Cutright and one brother, Hartfort Cutright. Beatrice was a homemaker and loved feeding her birds outside her window and talking to her friend and neighbor Helen Taylor every morning and evening. She also enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music and attending Bluegrass Music events and was an avid watcher of wrestling. She was a Methodist by faith. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randy Long officiating. Interment will follow in the Jerusalem Cemetery near Mill Creek. The family request memorial contributions be made to the Randolph County Humane Society, PO Box 785, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Mrs. White and her loving dog Kasey.
