Erick D. “Dino” Shoulders, age 53 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at his residence. He was born April 15, 1965 at Elkins, a son of Jean Miller Kelley of Elkins and step father Jerry Arbogast of Mill Creek. He was married to Barbara Robey Shoulders who survives. Also surviving is one son, Donavon Brooks Ryan and Emily Rowan of Elkins and two daughters, Angie Maria Hellums and husband Curtis of Roswell, New Mexico and Makala Shoulders of Elkins. Three sisters, Susi Moore and sons, Joshua Moore and daughter Deveni, and Cree Moore and wife Cynthia and son Bradley Cree of Lubbock, TX, Krista Curnutte and husband Scott of Jimtown and Jeri Arbogast Teter and her daughter Ava Teter, both of Elkins. Four grandchildren, Jon Wayne Hellums, Austin and Patrick Hellums and Heaven Lea Pritt at home also survive. Dino worked as a mechanic and loved working on cars. He enjoyed cooking, taking care of the homeless and was a member of the First Church of Christ of Elkins. Friends may call from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. On Friday, April 12th, Erick will be moved to the First Church of Christ for visitation from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm the funeral hour. Pastor Dave Collins, Pastor Gary Kindle and Pastor Mike House will officiate. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Elkins.
