June 24, 1988 - November 11, 2021
A beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, Hannah Marie Hass left this world when her kind and loving heart gave up on her at the age of 33 on November 11, 2021. The oldest of three sisters, Hannah was born to Ken and Denise (Lombardi) Hass in Elkins, West Virginia and spent her early life there exploring the hills and mountain rivers. A graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Hannah had a successful career as a consultant at Deloitte and moved on to build a loving work family at ProspHire, where she was admired by her colleagues for her independence, intelligence, and humor. Hannah loved bringing people together. She will be remembered by her friends and family for the elaborate trips and parties she enjoyed to plan and host. On a recent Hass family vacation, Hannah provided everyone with a matching embroidered hat to wear, and while a student at Elkins High School, she was famous among her classmates for hosting “Hannah River Days” at her favorite spot on the Cheat River. Hannah loved being on the river, and you could often find her sharing a kayak with her dog, Franz. In addition to her parents, Hannah is survived by her sisters, Sophia (Hass) Khan and Addie Hass, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, as well as her German Pinscher, Franz. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Nickolaus and Irene Lombardi and Frank and Inez Hass, uncles, Mark Kracker and Jim Bredlow. A Memorial Service will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh on December 15 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made to project HEAl, an organization that provides assistance for people seeking treatment for eating disorders, in Hannah’s name. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.tomblynfuneralhome.com.
