Loretta Mae Arbogast Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Loretta Mae Bonnell Arbogast, age 80 years, a resident of Montrose and more recently a resident of Maryville, TN, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Maryville, TN. She was born July 24, 1939 at Glady, WV a daughter of the late Bernard Ray and Mary Susan Strawder Bonnell. On July 28, 1954 at Glady, she was married to Keith Arbogast who preceded her in death July 26, 2001. Surviving are two sons, Danny Arbogast and wife Joyce and Rocky Arbogast all of Montrose. One daughter, Donna McGinnis, Maryville, TN; fifteen grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Arbogast was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by one son, David Arbogast, three daughters, Bonnie, Mary Ann and Vickie Arbogast, two grandchildren, James McGinnis, III and Shana Chappell, two great grandchildren, Chelsea and Britney Arbogast and one son-in-law, James McGinnis, and a daughter-in-law Carolyn Arbogast. She attended the schools of Randolph County and was employed at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center and Memorial General Hospital prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Believer’s Fellowship Church at Montrose. Friends may call from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Terry Cannon officiating. Interment will follow in the American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Loretta Mae Bonnell Arbogast.
