Nancy Kisner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nancy Lee Kisner, age 74 years, a resident of Montrose, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV under the care of WVU Medicine Hospice. She was born July 21, 1947 in Sturgeon PA a daughter of the late Paul and Natalie Bykens Dufour. She is survived by two sons, Richard E. Kisner, Jr. and wife Angela of Montrose; Sean L. Kisner of Montrose; one daughter, Tammy L. McDonald of Beverly; and two sisters, Anita Crouse of Burgettstown, PA and Cheryl Zibert and husband Jim of Midway, PA. Grandchildren, Jeremy Kisner and wife Courtney, Kayliegh Hartly, Elizabeth Blackburn and husband JD, Pam Rettig, Alisha and Destiny Pritt. Great-grandchildren, Jace and Lydia Blackburn, Leon’na and Mason Hartly and great-great grandchildren, Haden and Madix Hartly. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Dufour, Gil Espenschied and Don Dufour and two sisters, Joanne Bender and Janet Rutan. Ms. Kisner worked at Bata Shoe Company and also Dufour Catering with her sisters. She loved cooking and baking. Her passion was watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nancy’s wish for cremation will be honored and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held at the Robinson Cemetery in Oakdale, PA at a later date.
